From the moment I sat down with the soon-to-be Mrs Hemmings, I knew this wedding was going to be something truly memorable. From a beautiful spiritual ceremony in the very place where their loved ones before them exchanged vows, to horse-drawn carriages and tractor-driven groomsmen, open fields, hay bales, and home-brewed ale. Every personalised detail was a celebration of the couple's love and personalities.

If you haven’t guessed already, the newlyweds are farmers and absolutely love what they do.

I started the day bright and early with the bridal party preparations. The atmosphere was relaxed, with excited giggles as the ladies enjoyed the hair and make-up process, prosecco in hand. Our bride was content, composed, and in control - very much ready to become Mrs Hemmings.

I was loaded up with two Canon DSLRs, ready to capture all the joyful moments. On this occasion, I was working alongside the lovely Benton and Cunningham videography team.

The biggest challenge of the morning was trying to capture some photos of the ladies with Jinny’s majestic but shy horse, Jim-Bob, who I quote, “is scared of carrier bags.” Needless to say, this was handled with the utmost care and patience.

The ceremony took place at St Lawrence Church, Napton-on-the-Hill - a stunning location in Southam, Warwickshire. It was a full Catholic service, including prayers and readings from loved ones

From the church, we headed to Rugby for the rural wedding reception. Will and his trusty team of groomsmen had spent the previous weeks preparing a few fields for the big day, and my goodness, their hard work paid off.

A marquee had been set up, along with a professional bar, fire pits, and several personalised photo opportunity stations

After the meal and speeches, the dining tables were moved out into the warm evening air to make way for the evening celebrations.



This wedding has become one of my favourites, simply because of how personal Jinny and Will made it to themselves. You truly got a feel for their relationship and what they love. It was a real honour to be part of this magical day, and it was perfect for my vibrant, natural, and dreamy wedding photography style.
